The Core Working Group (Library and Information Science) of SSARSC has been formed to carry out the academic and research activities related to Information Science and its applications. The group constitutes many eminent scientists and researchers of library and information science. The CWG (LIS) will carry forward the objectives of SSARSC to serve the society with the output of their research deliberations, conferences, workshops, that they will organize. All the members of the core group are competent professionals of their respective areas of interest within LIS field. They have explored LIS field with respect to serve nation and work towards the betterment of the nation and society. All the members are dedicated towards the progress and development for information society. The CWG (LIS) will explore the possibility of opening other regional and international chapters of SSARSC- LIS.
